According to my countdown app, it has been 289 days since I quit my job in search of a better, happier life. Yes I still have the count down going. I'm not sure if I'll make the decision to get rid of it as it's a nice reminder of my choice and a motivator to do something with my time! In the time since my last journal update I've dabble in this and that and not a whole heap. I've been doing a small amount of community volunteering including working on a community newsletter which has been interesting. It's been over 100 days since I finished up with work in order to focus on a happier and healthier me. I thought (dreamed?) that I would throw myself into my art, craft and wood work and be up to my ears in products to sell and in general be happy with myself. Instead I'm finding it hard to create a good steady structure for my time and continue to get stress over my unproductiveness. My husband keeps reassuring me that, at the end of the day, if I am happy and enjoying life, even without being productive then that's all the matters.
